Employees
This document explains how to manage Employee data in the Jova POS system. This feature allows you to add, edit, delete, and manage employee-related information.
Employee Management Flow
The general flow is:
- Access the Transactions → Employees menu.
- Add a New Employee.
- Fill in the employee information.
- Select the Store to assign to the employee.
- Click Save to save the employee data.
- After saving, the employee will appear in the list with the specified status.
1. Accessing the Employees Menu
- In the sidebar, click Transactions.
- Select Employees to access the employee management page.
2. Adding a New Employee
To add a new employee, click the Add button located in the top right corner of the page.
3. Filling in Employee Information
On the Add Employee page, you need to fill in the following information:
- Name: The employee's full name.
- Email: The employee's email address.
- Password: Password for the employee's account.
- Phone Number: The employee's phone number.
- Address: The employee's address.
- Role: Select the employee's role (e.g. Cashier, Manager, etc.).
- Status: Choose whether the employee is Active or Inactive.
After filling in the employee information, click the Save button to save the data.
4. Assigning a Store to an Employee
After adding an employee, you can assign stores to them by clicking Set Store. Select the relevant store for the employee.

- Select a store from the available list (e.g. Demo Store 2, Bengkong Branch, etc.).
- Click Save to assign the store.
5. Editing Employee Data
To edit an existing employee's data:
- Click the Edit button in the Action column of the employee list.
- Change the necessary information such as name, email, phone, address, role, and status.
- Click Save to save the changes.
6. Deleting an Employee
If you need to delete an employee, click the Delete button in the Action column of the employee list. The system will ask for confirmation to ensure the deletion.
7. Employee List
After employees are added, you can view the list of existing employees in a table containing the following information:
- Name
- Phone Number
- Status (Active/Inactive)
- Action (Edit/Delete)
8. Employee Search and Filter
To make searching easier, you can use the Search or Filter feature based on Name, Store, or Status.
9. Export Employee Report
To export employee data to Excel format, click the Export to Excel button located in the top right of the employee table. The report will be downloaded in Excel format.
10. Generate POS Approval Code
After adding an employee and assigning a store, click the Generate POS Approval Code button to generate the required approval code.
- This code will be used as a reference for subsequent processes or transaction verification.

With the Employee Management feature in Jova POS, you can easily manage employee information, assign appropriate stores, and ensure employee data is always up to date. The process of adding, editing, and deleting employees can be done quickly and efficiently.
